I have a hard time finding many negatives for kids.
I know it will be hard for some. I know I have several kids in the afternoon that stay up really late and sleep till 11 or 12 when they have to get ready for school. There are some kids that log in virtually from their bed in the mornings. It will be a tough transition for them for sure.
I don't have much concern health-wise that there will be huge issues.
It will definitely be different than in the past with the annoying things we have to do like all the barriers and alternating who eats lunch.
The good thing is, if a student (and parent) is loving virtual learning and feel like it's better for their kid, they can keep doing it.
I feel safe in my classroom even when I had a student that sits right next to my desk had Covid. And that was before I was fully vaccinated.
